Maintenance And Care

Store the foil in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight to help preserve transfer quality. Work on a properly prepared nail plate and ensure the adhesive or dispersion layer is correctly cured according to the lamp power before applying the foil to the less shiny side and pressing gently. After transfer, always seal the design with a compatible top coat and cure as recommended; if using a classic top, degrease after curing as instructed for the specific top product. Keep application tools clean so the adhesive pattern remains crisp, and close containers promptly to reduce contamination and thickening of gel products used in the process.

Safety Precautions

For professional use, avoid contact of gel products and adhesives with skin, and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Do not apply over broken, inflamed, or compromised skin around the nail area. Use only properly functioning UV/LED lamps, follow the stated curing times, and keep products out of reach of children. Do not use the foil if it is damaged or contaminated, as this can reduce transfer performance and compromise the finished service.

Note When applying directly onto a gel polish dispersion layer (without transfer glue), results may be less predictable because the sticky layer is weaker than with Semilac Transfer Foil Glue. The gel polish must form a sticky dispersion layer after curing; all Semilac colours do so except 031 Black Diamond, which can be replaced with 300 Perfect Black to obtain dispersion.
